Depending on your brand and model bill validator, most validator reading heads can be upgraded to take newly issued bills by changing the software in the unit. This is a service we provide and takes very little time which usually can be accomplished in a single service call.

From time to time the government issues new bills such as the ones with color we've seen in recent years and the validator will not know how to process and accept them so they are rejected.  By upgrading the software in the bill validator, the unit will now have the correct algorythm to determine that the new bill is legitimate. 

Remember, older validators may or may not be upgradable but all of our current slots will accept the current bills issued as of today and most will be upgradable for the future.
